Women's Health/Obstetrics/Gynecology & Pregnancy Care

VNA OB/GYN providers care for women through all stages of their lives, from the child bearing years through menopause.

Services include:

Women's Wellness Services

VNA offers women's wellness services, including:

  • Pap tests
  • Contraception
  • Breast exams
  • STD testing and treatment
  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Assistance with Medicaid application

VNA receives funding from the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP), Susan G. Komen, Stand Against Cancer, and the state of Illinois Title X Program. Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program

IBCCP offers eligible women:

  • Free breast and pelvic exams
  • Free pap tests
  • Free mammograms

VNA is the lead agency for the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) in Kane and Kendall Counties. VNA Health Centers in DuPage and Will counties refer eligible women to the IBCCP agency in the county of their residence.

Advanced Digital Mammography & Breast Ultrasound testing is available on-site at VNA's Highland Avenue location in Aurora.

Patients at our Elgin clinics have the option of coming to Aurora or may be screened at Sherman Hospital. Our casemanagers work with patients in Aurora and Elgin who have abnormal results to ensure they receive the follow up care and support they need.

Note: Funding for reproductive health services is through the Title X program under the Illinois Department of Human Services. Services for men are also available through Title X. Funding for women’s health services recieved by the Illinois Department of Public Health Center for Minority Health Services and the Springfield Urban League, Inc.
