Virtual visits make it easy to get care from home: quickly, securely, and on your schedule. Connect with a VNA provider online for common health concerns, behavioral/mental health support, and select prescription needs.
Scheduling is simple: book through MyChart or by phone, and join your appointment from a phone, tablet, or computer.

Medication Renewals (Telehealth)

Some medication renewals can be completed during a virtual visit. However, renewals may require an in-person appointment due to safety and regulatory requirements.

Exclusions:

  • Medication renewals for patients not seen within the last 9 months.
  • Medication renewals for medications that require an in-person evaluation.

If you are unsure whether your medication can be renewed during a telehealth visit, please contact your VNA provider or VNA pharmacist for guidance.

How Virtual Visits Work

1. Schedule a “virtual visit” through MyChart or call 630-892-4355.

2. Confirm you have a valid patient consent form on file with VNA.

3. When it’s time to start, log in to MyChart or use the Zoom link sent by VNA.

4. Up to 10 minutes before your appointment, test your device’s connection.

5. When your doctor appears in the top half of your screen, your visit will begin.

A virtual visit is an appointment with a VNA provider by video, using your phone, tablet, or computer. It’s a convenient way to get care from home for many everyday health concerns.

Telehealth is available for existing VNA patients who are 5 years of age and older.

You can easily schedule your virtual visit at VNA:

Online: (established patients) Log in to your MyChart account.

Online: (new to VNA?) Book online using Open Scheduling.

By phone: Call your local VNA Health Care clinic.

Following your telehealth visit, you will receive a bill through the mail and through the MyVNA MyChart patient portal. Any copays or balances can be paid by mail, over the phone, or through the patient portal. VNA accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and some commercial insurance plans. For self-pay patients, a sliding fee scale is available based on family size and income. If you have questions about coverage or costs, our team is happy to help.

If your provider determines that your symptoms require an in-person evaluation, we’ll help you schedule an appointment at a convenient VNA Health Care location. When you schedule—online or by phone—our team will ask a few questions to guide you to the most appropriate type of visit. Some types of care are best handled in person, such as physical exams, lab tests, vaccinations, imaging, or procedures that require hands-on assessment.
