What is FPPE Coverage?
FPPE (Family Planning Presumptive Eligibility) in Illinois provides fast, temporary state-funded Medicaid coverage for reproductive and sexual health care. It is designed to cover individuals—regardless of age, gender, or immigration status. No proof of citizenship or income required. Enroll with a VNA staff member to apply for “FPPE coverage”. Once approved, coverage starts the day you apply and continues through the end of the following month.
Who Qualifies?
You may qualify if you:

- Live in Illinois
- Make less than $3,841/month before taxes
- Do not already have Medicaid
