Sylwia Policht

Sylwia Policht is the Associate Vice President of Quality and Care Coordination at VNA Health Care. Sylwia oversees care quality across the organization, managing VNA’s quality, hospital liaison, and outreach teams. She leads data analysis to continuously optimize clinical operations and drive quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, Sylwia oversees Home Based Services, including nursing, hospice and physical therapy, and private duty care, while contributing to grant development. She joined VNA Health Care as a Director of Quality and Education in 2023 before advancing to her current executive role in 2026. 

Sylwia brings over 20 years of extensive clinical and leadership experience across critical care, acute care, and population health. Prior to joining VNA, she served as a Registered Nurse for over 15 years at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, where she spent 15 years in a charge nurse role, mentored incoming nurses, and served on key committees including Shared Governance and the Nurse Executive Committee. Her clinical foundation also includes critical care nursing in the medical ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Sylwia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Concordia and West Suburban College of Nursing, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Lewis University.
