VNA Health Care makes it easier to get care in a place you already know. Students of School District 131 can access quality and affordable primary care at our school-based center in East Aurora High School. We are open all year round, not just during the school year. To access services provided at the center, we require students to present a signed VNA parent/guardian consent form.
VNA Health Care offers important primary care services for students. This includes screenings, sick care, vaccinations and wellness classes. Our most relevant services include:
Regular checkups help keep your child healthy. We offer school physicals so students can join sports and activities. Our doctors will check your child’s growth, development, and health. We also provide vaccines and screenings. This is a good time to ask questions about your child’s health.
Our women’s health services include medical exams, free pregnancy tests, lab tests, counseling, and women’s health education. Our team is here to help you with your health needs. We provide the care and support young women need to make the best choices for their health.
Facing a pregnancy can bring up many questions and concerns. We offer free pregnancy testing to support our community. If you think you may be pregnant, we are here to help you understand your options. We provide the care and support you need, regardless of your financial situation.
Your mental health is very important. We are here to help students who may be feeling stressed, anxious, or sad. Our services include counseling, help with anxiety, depression, and stress management. We also provide resources to help students through difficult situations.
We also provide referrals for off-site services, including vision, dental, and family counseling. We can connect you with community organizations that assist with food, housing, and other necessities.
No matter your financial situation, we believe that every student should have access to quality healthcare. We accept many commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid and uninsured patients. No student will be turned away for an inability to pay.
You can find the same services and additional care at our primary care centers in Highland Ave, Indian Ave and Weston Ave. Immediate care for minor emergencies is also available at the Weston location.
Students of the SD129 can receive care at the school-linked VNA Health Care Center located in the Jeff Craig Family Resource Center.
Our primary care center at the East Aurora High School is open during school hours year round. We are also open for 3 days a week during the summer. Take a look at the timetable below to check our availability at this location.
